This naturalist's paradise is located in the Timbavati Game Reserve, which shares unfenced boundaries with the Greater Kruger National Park to the west. It is hard not to fall in love. Candlelight and starry-eyed evenings will bring back memories of the incredible fauna you saw that day.
Nine tastefully furnished canvas tents perched on wooden platforms make up this traditional African safari lodging. Each tent was intelligently built to blend in with the existing tree canopy, resulting in a lightweight structure. The deluxe tents include stone dividers and huge gauze screen windows. They also have an outdoor shower, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a hairdryer, an electric blanket for chilly winter nights, and a private wooden terrace with views of the riverbed. The sleek guest room has an additional view of the riverbed, which appears to blend into the lap pool. The picture is completed with a small safari shop, open fires, a dining room and lounge with lots of space for observing wildlife.
Before you close your eyes, hear the monkeys scuttling around or the roar of a few distant monkeys every now and again. The world transforms at night. The bush is ruled by other animals. Night creatures quarrel over the loudest solo in the symphony and smell differently.
