Shamwari Eagles Crag offers you the ultimate luxury, privacy and a breath-taking scenery. Eagles Crag comprises of 9 glass and stone luxurious suites. Not only is the accommodation classically beautiful, but also exposed to uninterrupted views of the surrounding rock faces where eagles soar.
The 9 Junior Suites at Eagles Crag can sleep a maximum of 2 adults. Each suite has air conditioning, a minibar, an international dial phone & fitted international adapter, an electronic safe, a hairdryer, a private deck & heated plunge pool, en-suite bathroom with shower & bath, a coffee machine, and an outdoor shower.
Guided by our trained rangers, you can experience wildlife interactions unlike any other during our morning and afternoon game drives plus experience fauna and flora indigenous to the Eastern Cape Region on a professionally guided bush walk. The malaria-free area of the Eastern Cape is home to a host of beautiful birds, from tiny feathered friends to majestic birds of prey. In addition to spectacular game drives, Shamwari Private Game Reserve also offers professionally guided bush walks.
Children age 12 and older are welcome to stay at Eagles Crag.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO EAGLES CRAG, SHAMWARI PRIVATE GAME RESERVE, EASTERN CAPE: Follow the N2 out of Gqeberha heading towards Grahamstown, bypassing the R342 turn-off. Continue along the N2 until you reach a sign board for Eagles Crag and Bayethe on the Sidbury Road. Turn left onto the gravel road and follow this road until you reach a T-junction. At the T-junction follow the sign boards to Eagles Crag. Shamwari offers complimentary transfers to guests that fly directly to the Shamwari airstrip. GPS co-ordinates: -33.4158603, 26.0916266
