Tour Itinerary

Day 1-3: Travelling to the Timbavati Nature Reserve

From Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport, you will take a scheduled flight to the Timbavati Private Game Reserve today. There, you will spend the next three days discovering the African bushveld while living in the lap of luxury. After an early wake-up call and a freshly made cup of tea or coffee, the mornings are spent in the bush for three to four hours with a highly trained ranger and tracker. As the animals wake up and normally head to the nearby waterholes for a drink, watch the bush come to life. Make sure your camera is prepared for some amazing photo ops. Once you're back at camp, have a filling breakfast and then have some free time lounging around or going on an exhilarating bush walk with an armed ranger. You venture out into the bush once more in the late afternoon to see the most breathtaking red-sky sunset of your life and to have additional up-close interactions with wildlife. Days 4-6: Arriving at Sabi Sands Game Reserve

You make your way to the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve after one last early-morning game drive in the Timbavati, return to camp for breakfast, and gather your stuff. You will get ready for your first of many adventures in the Sabi Sands after unwinding in your opulent accommodation and enjoying a delectable lunch. In the jungle, darkness heralds a period of both danger and calm, which may let you glimpse tiny predators like civets or genets that are rarely visible during the day.
