With more than 30 years of experience in hospitality, the family-run and kid-friendly Timbavati Private Game Reserve is waiting for you. Spend the night in one of the Giraffe's Nest Hide sleep-outs for the most authentic safari experience, or stay at the main lodge. After an exciting game drive, hang over the pool's edge and wait patiently for some large animals to pass. It will be difficult to part from Timbavati Game Reserve, where you enter as a guest and depart as a friend.

Fifteen luxuriously furnished bungalows with organic furnishings that mirror the natural surroundings are available at Motswari. All of the air-conditioned, roomy, and en suite bungalows provide views of the bushveld. For those seeking a more private experience, Geiger's Camp provides exclusive use lodging a short distance from the main lodge. The primary camp amenities, which offer a calm and pleasant atmosphere, include a lounge, library with internet access, and art gallery. There are two fully licensed pubs, a curio shop, indoor eating options (boma or bush dining depending on the season), and a swimming pool.

At Motswari Private Game Reserve, the morning routine consists of a warm cup of tea, your Land Rover, and a happy pair of trackers and rangers. Your guides are prepared to regale you with tales from the African bush. Do you know why hippos don't often consume meat? They actually do. It's time to relax or go for a bush walk after the morning wildlife drive; on foot, everything moves more slowly and there's more to uncover. No children younger than 6 years ols are allowed at Motswari. Children sharing with parents pay 50% of room rate per night. Children in inter-leading rooms pay single occupancy rate for the room. Children should be 6 years and older for game drives, 12 years and older for bush walks and 18 years for Overnight Safari Walk Experience.
