Kings Camp
When you get a massage from the gentle spa therapists at Kings Camp. Along with their employees, managers Warren and Lisha Moore will always go above and beyond to ensure that you have the greatest stay possible and that you may mark off all the observed creatures on your bucket list.
Kings Camp offers eleven spacious thatched apartments with dark wood décor furnished in a colonial manner. All suites have air conditioning, mosquito nets, and cool Victorian ball-and-claw bathtubs in their en suite bathrooms, along with both indoor and outdoor double showers. A minibar, tea and coffee making supplies, and a private veranda—complete with a hammock—that is easily accessible from your room are all included. Alternatively, take a good book and curl up on one of the plush couches in the cosy living rooms. There is an open-air lounge and bar, a large dining room with views of the bush, a library with internet access and a television, a thatched viewing terrace overlooking a waterhole that attracts a lot of thirsty wildlife, and more.
A five-star safari wouldn't be the same without wildlife drives in a cutting-edge open Land Rover. Prepare for drives over more than 100 square kilometres of prime animal territory in the morning and afternoon. Tea and coffee are served with the morning drive to help you wake up. Gourmet canapés and refreshments are offered in the afternoon to counteract the heat of the African sun. After the early morning game drive, do you feel like burning off the substantial breakfast? Join a knowledgeable ranger for a walk in the bush. We can assure you that the small discoveries concealed by flora and rocks will astound you. Remember our feathered companions who lurk in waterholes, atop branches, or on the backs of hippos? Put on your binoculars now: With more than 300 species of birds, bird enthusiasts can partake in.
No children allowed under 6 years, unless the whole camp is booked. Children aged 6 - 11 years can share a room with their parents. Children sharing a suite with two full paying guests will pay 50% of the adult sharing rate.
