Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Journey from Johannesburg to Timbavati Nature Reserve

You will take a flight this morning from O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to Hoedspruit Airport, where you will be met and taken to Kambaku Safari Lodge situated in the Timbavati Private Game Reserve.

Your home for the next four nights and five days is Kambaku Safari Lodge, a place made for good times. At Kambaku Safari Lodge, first-rate safari lodging, first-rate amenities, and outstanding service guarantee that you will have an amazing time.

You set out on your first safari this afternoon, searching for wildlife, including the Big 5, in the African jungle. You head back to camp for a delicious dinner after three to four hours.

Days 2-4: Experience what Kambaku has to offer 

An early wake-up call is followed by a lovely cup of freshly brewed tea or coffee in the morning. On a game drive early in the morning, you set out with the expectation of viewing a plethora of wildlife seeking water from the rivers and water holes. After having a hearty breakfast upon your return to the lodge, you can spend the remainder of the morning lounging about and taking advantage of the amenities provided, or you can choose to go for an early morning bush walk. In the hopes of seeing some of the reserve's nocturnal species, you will embark on another thrilling afternoon game drive later in the afternoon. After taking in the breathtaking African sunset, you head back to camp and wrap off the day with a delicious supper served al fresco beneath the African sky, all the while reminiscing about the day's adventures.

Day 5: The Final day at Kamabaku Safari Lodge

You go on one final early morning game drive today in hopes of seeing some amazing animals. Breakfast is served when you get back to the resort, and you have time to get ready and gather your things before heading to the Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Johannesburg and then making your further travel plans.
