Situated in the Umbabat Private Nature Reserve, Nsala Wilderness Camp has unobstructed boundaries with the Kruger National Park, as well as the Timbavati and Klaserie Private Nature Reserves. Situated atop a raised platform, the Kruger Safari camp commands a view of a tiny watering hole that is often visited by elephants. Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Travelling from Johannesburg to Nsala Wilderness Camp
Take a scheduled flight from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit Airport to start your journey. You will be met warmly upon arrival and given a private transfer to Nsala Wilderness Camp. surrounded by unfenced borders with the well-known Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, and the well-liked Kruger National Park, this wildlife-rich private game reserve is situated. Nestled among leadwood and marula trees, Nsala is a small, rustic bush camp that looks out over a gentle s-bend in the meandering river. It is situated on the banks of a dry riverbed. A completely unique and authentic African safari experience awaits you when you settle into your hut in a stunning and unspoiled bush location. You and your guide will go on a game drive around the reserve in the afternoon in search of wildlife, which includes the Big 5. Anticipate a seamless encounter with wildlife viewing in an unspoiled African environment. Return to the lodge in time for a quick change of clothes and a delicious meal.
Days 2-3: Experiencing what Nsala Wilderness Camp has to offer
The day begins with an early wake-up call, which is followed by a freshly made cup of tea or coffee and some rusks before going on an early game drive. The diversity of wildlife visible from the camp and during morning and evening game viewing is much greater than just the presence of the Big Five. If you're lucky, the elephants will come by to drink while you're relaxing by the pool! Along from the ubiquitous elephant, buffalo, and rhino, other animals that consume plants include kudu, nyala, waterbuck, duiker, giraffe, zebra, and impala. Excellent predator viewing is available as prides of lions lounge around in between massive feasts, while leopards hunt through the dense undergrowth. Drinks and snacks are eaten in the wild during the twice-daily game drives, and on rare occasions, special bush meals can be arranged for some truly memorable dining. You will go on your afternoon game drive later in the afternoon, which may last until dusk. After dinner, you will return to the lodge to celebrate your day's sightings and share memories.
Day 4: Leaving the Nsala Wilderness Camp
You bid farewell to the African wilderness after one more game drive and a hot, filling breakfast before making your way back to the airport in time for your departure back to Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport. You will make connections with your subsequent trip plans here.
